Named because Savannah was a Christmas gift from Gen. Sherman to President Lincoln during his famous "march to the sea" wherein most of Georgia was burned to the ground. This hole is part of Crosswinds unique format of 5 Par 5's and 5 Par 3's. This hole favors a drive down the right side, being careful to avoid the sand traps. Long hitters can challenge the hole with their second shot. However, a miss hit will land you in the deep culvert in front of the green or the sea grass surrounding the green, making a par difficult at best.
