Named for the inventor of torturous devices, this holes has frustrated many. The fairway is lined from start to finish by a creek along the right ride. With a green that is wide and narrow, and made more difficult with a "hog-back". The left side provides a generous landing area, that leaves an intimidating second shot, that requires traversing the creek and sand trap. Drivers gambling onto the right side of the fairway are rewarded with a shorter second shot to a very tough green. A left pin placement mandates favors a left fairway drive.
